Ok so let me start off by saying this is FIRST Arby's experience. I've never been to any in my life.
With that being said, not bad. Not bad at all. The idea of the chain almost was unattractive to me. I'm not sure why. Possibly too many roast beef curtains jokes? Not sure. So after a sleepless night of YouTube research, I decided to check this brand new establishment out. YouTubers basically said to get the smoked brisket or the meat mountain sandwich. I went with the SB. And the classic part of me felt obligated to get at least a RB slider. And some cheese sticks.
I scarfed down the cheese sticks on the way home. Definitely not as ooey gooey pulley as the YouTube videos. The cheese was kinda cold and the coating was too hot. I'd definitely skip it next time and head down the block to White Castle for the best cheese sticks ever.
Next up: the roast beef slider. I assumed that the cheese was gunna be liquidy. But this was like a slick of white cheese on there. The meat itself was kinda dry. So I tried the house sauce. Utterly nasty sauce. The horsey sauce saved it. Perhaps it's because I didn't get the original and just the slider. I wasn't happy.
Then came the Brisket sandwich. I pulled out a fried onion to tried it and DDAAAAAAMMMNNNN it was good. What have I been missing my whole life?? After I took a bite of the whole sandwich I was knocked back a bit at the amount of smoke flavoring. This was incredible. Needed a bit more bbq sauce and hoped that the brisket was a bit thicker, but man o man o man. This is amazing.
I'm so glad this place is so close to me know. I will definitely be exploring more of the menu.
You can't compare this place to a burger joint or subway. It's kind of a beast of its own. -

Fast food it is not. After 12 minutes trying to get an Arby's sandwich, and I was the only customer in the place, I just got a refund.

Brand new Arby's!!! So glad that there is finally one in Schaumburg, seeing as how there's basically EVERY other food chain. This location is modern with decor. It just looks beautiful inside, but it's still a comfortable environment. The food was great as always, and it came out pretty quickly. The employees were all super friendly! A few employees even came over to our table to ask how everything was. I will absolutely be returning to this location. Great first impression!!

Went through the drive thru tonite and I was blown away. A girl named Kacie took my order and you could just tell in her voice she was happy. She was very knowledge about what came on the sandwiches I ordered and not once gave me an attitude for asking. Once we got to the window she had a huge smile on her face and my order was out in no time. The food industry needs more girls like Kacie and Arby's..she needs a raise.
